HOW DO WE CHOOSE OUR SURGEONS?

Before adding a surgeon, clinic or facility to our register, there are many standards set out both by BSA and the industry they must meet.

Everyone we at BSA work with and recommend undergoes a thorough and extensive screening to ensure that they meet our guidelines and standards of good practice. By doing, so we hope to achieve the best possible outcome for every patient, keeping them both safe and happy with their end results.

Our aim is to supply you with all of the knowledge that we believe EVERY patient should be armed with when going into surgery, whether it be for a medical or cosmetic purpose.

We believe that transparency must be one of the key objectives every step of the way.

The 14 Point Plan

The 14 point plan is a strategy we ensure all of our surgeons follow to ensure the safety and success of all breast augmentation.

The 14 point plan pulls together proven strategies and research for surgeons to use when they are inserting breast implants into a patient. It has since been adopted by surgeons worldwide.

The 14 steps aim to minimise any bacteria throughout breast augmentation. This is due to the fact that contact with bacteria can increase the risk of capsular contracture which is hardening, pain and deformity following breast implant surgery. By using the plan, surgeons can reduce the number of bacteria that may come in to contact with the implant and therefore the risk of breast implant complications are minimised.
